ElliotLee wins Newcomer SME Employer of the Year at the London
National Apprenticeship Awards 2016

ElliotLee has been announced as a winner at the London National Apprenticeship Awards 2016 regional ceremony. ElliotLee was winner in the London region for the Newcomer SME Employer of the Year.

The Awards, now in their thirteenth year, are run by the National Apprenticeship Service and recognise excellence in two areas: businesses that grow their own talent with apprentices and apprentices who have made a significant contribution to their workplaces.

On winning, ElliotLee said:
“We decided to embrace the Apprenticeship programme in 2015 as we were committed to providing meaningful employment and development opportunities to young people and we can honestly say it was one of the best business decisions we’ve ever made.

“Being a values based business we commit to continued self development by providing a training platform for all staff to better themselves. The apprentices have excelled our expectations and we plan to continue the apprenticeship scheme over the coming years.

“By taking on apprentices it’s allowed the business to grow in a short amount of time in a way we could of never imagined. They’ve helped us build a solid foundation within the company and continue to do so month by month.

“To say we’re proud of their journey so far is an understatement and to be recognised by the National Apprenticeship Service too is even more incredible.”
– Hannah Petford, Director of Operations.

Sue Husband, Director of the National Apprenticeship Service, said:
“The National Apprenticeship Awards enable exceptional apprentices and dedicated employers to receive the recognition they richly deserve. Apprenticeships enable people to gain the skills and knowledge they need to succeed – in some cases up to degree level; and for businesses to grow the talent they need.

“There has never been a better time to become an apprentice or employ one.”
